The next big thing.

Every time I get a call from 202 area code my heart skips a beat hoping it will be my placement officer (who am I kidding, I've more than memorized that number by now).

But this time it was better than ever before, because this time I was INVITED TO SERVE IN THE PEACE CORPS!!!

After countless questions both verbal and written, poking and prodding by needles and physicians, tests, waiting, waiting, waiting, going crazy, and more waiting it finally happened.

I have been invited to serve as a "Community Natural Resource Adviser" in a country yet to be revealed to my prying eyes. They say they want me to be given the information on said country by them, before almighty Google, so I have a more accurate view of where it is I am to serve. I can accept this, but really. . . more waiting? Though I guess it is only five days shipping away this time as opposed to some ambiguous figure of time held just out of my reach.

From what I understand from my Placement Specialist this is actually a different program than those listed below, so. . . surprise to me (but a good one).

When I first started this I said I didn't care where they sent me and I meant it. I plan to accept said invitation and meet my fellow volunteers (trainees?) on July 26th 2012!

Finally, as per every Peace Corps invitee blogger, here is my toolkit proof!
